Terrorist Threat in the Euro-Mediterranean

2 March 2016
Cairo

Radical groups are considered one of the main risk factors threatening the security at local, regional and international level. The reasons behind the popularity of radical groups among Euro-Mediterranean citizens, the tactics applied in the recruitment process, including the use of media and cyberspace, as well as the role of the international and regional actors towards radical groups were addressed at the seminar organised by the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Cairo.

The event aimed at presenting the final results of the research group “Terrorist Threat in the Euro-Mediterranean”, run in the framework of the EuroMeSCo ENI Project, co-financed by the European Union and the European Institute of the Mediterranean.
