Competition and Complementarity: National and EU Policies vis-à-vis the Southern Mediterranean

EuroMeSCo organised a research workshop in collaboration with the Polish Institute for Public Affairs (IPA).

The workshop analysed the foreign policy of selected EU member states and evaluated their degree of complementarity with current and emerging Euro-Mediterranean initiatives. The participants discussed as well southern perspectives (with a focus on Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey) regarding the French proposal of Mediterranean Union.
