On 2 July, the Abha airport, in Saudi Arabia, was targeted by a drone attack carried out by the Yemeni Houthi movement. According to the Saudi Press Agency, nine people got injured, including an Indian citizen. This attack is part of the new Houthi’s strategy that consists on hitting directly Saudi Arabia targets. According to Al-Masirah TV, a spokesman of the Houthis said the group had carried out a “large operation” targeting the airport. It is not the first time that Abha has been under attack: on 13 June a Syrian citizen died after a similar episode.
