Five institutions join EuroMeSCo as full members

EuroMeSCo’s General Assembly has approved the admission of five new full members, further strengthening the network’s expertise and geographical reach across the Euro-Mediterranean region:

  • Mediterranean Migration and Asylum Policy (MedMA) (Cyprus) – Independent initiative advancing an evidence-based Mediterranean perspective on migration and asylum through research, data analysis and policy dialogue, with a focus on asylum and reception, legal migration, integration and pathways to citizenship.

  • Action Committee for the Mediterranean (France) – Paris-based think tank promoting pragmatic Euro-Mediterranean cooperation through action-oriented policy proposals, high-level forums and thematic working groups aimed at fostering regional integration and informed public debate.

  • OSMOS Global Partnerships (OSMOS) (Lithuania) – Non-profit think-and-do tank dedicated to building mutually beneficial international partnerships, with recognised expertise in digital transformation, legal migration, EU external relations and innovative cooperation models connecting Europe with partner countries across Africa and beyond.

  • Centro de Estudios Árabes Contemporáneos (CEARC) (Spain) – Research institution based in Madrid that promotes knowledge and analysis of the contemporary Arab world, supporting academic cooperation and research on political, social and economic developments across the Middle East and North Africa, as well as European-Arab and Latin American-Arab relations.

  • Yaşar University EU Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Diversity (EUC/DIVEU) (Türkiye) – Interdisciplinary research and policy centre focusing on diversity, migration, social cohesion, youth, digital governance and EU external relations, contributing to evidence-based policymaking through research, teaching, capacity-building and international cooperation.

With these new members, EuroMeSCo expands its geographical reach and thematic diversity, strengthening its ability to generate high-quality research, facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue and provide policy-relevant insights for decision-makers across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
