EuroMeSCo organised a research workshop in collaboration with the Polish Institute for Public Affairs (IPA). The first-ever EuroMeSCo event to be held in Eastern Europe, this workshop took place in Warsaw, on 31 March-1 April 2008.

Divided into four sessions, discussions analysed the foreign policy of selected EU member states and evaluated their degree of complementarity with current or emerging Euro-Mediterranean initiatives.
